South Central Ambulance Service’s ‘Safe Space’ operating at Guildhall Walk Healthcare Centre

The PHL team at Guildhall Walk Healthcare Centre were delighted to support the relocation of the Safe Space Service from Hippodrome House to the practice on Friday 5th January 2018.

The idea of Safe Space is to provide medical assistance to people on Friday and Saturday evenings and reduce the number of 999 call outs and reduce the pressure on Accident and Emergency.

Anyone needing medical assistance or ‘Safe Space’ because they are vulnerable between 22:00 and 03:00 on Friday and Saturday nights can visit the trained clinicians that run safe space.

PHL are delighted to working with colleagues in SCAS to provide better facilities to run the service.
